Ellen Lindell

Dr. Lindell is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists. She is an active member of the College and has just begun her term as President Elect. She is currently a Board member of the Westchester Rockland VMA in New York.

Dr. Lindell is a member of the Fear FreeSM Advisory Panel and is proud to be both a Certified Fear FreeSM Professional and a Fully Approved Fear FreeSM Speaker. She continues to support and guide veterinary teams as they create a Fear FreeSM culture in their practices.

Most of Dr. Lindell’s time is spent treating patients with behavioral concerns. She owns a behavior specialty practice with offices in New York and CT.

Dr. Lindell enjoys teaching and has lectured extensively to veterinarians and veterinary technicians. She is a behavior consultant with the VIN community.

She also enjoys writing and has had the opportunity to contribute to several textbooks including the 5-Minute Veterinary Consult, and the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Behavior. Dr. Lindell also contributed to a chapter in the popular publication, Decoding Your Dog.

In her spare time, Dr. Lindell trains and shows her dogs in assorted dog sports. At the end of the day, she enjoys playing classical piano.
